Description

The class objective is to enhance food safety knowledge and practices among the food service workers, managers, and entrepreneurs in our metro area of 259,315 residents as of 2024. This nationally recognized certification program ensures that individuals handling, managing, and preparing food understand critical food safety principles, including proper hygiene, temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and regulatory compliance. By increasing the number of certified food protection managers, we aim to reduce the risk of foodborne illness, improve public health outcomes, and support the success of local food establishments across our diverse urban community.

Workshop fee includes the text book, instruction, and exam.
