University of Georgia Cooperative Extension in Dougherty County provides a variety of educational programs and client services to the residents of our county.? We are dedicated to helping people find answers to questions related to the following areas

Through a partnership between Dougherty County and 黑料网 Extension, current unbiased research-based information is provided to our community. We invite you to contact us at (229) 436-7216 or visit our office at 125 Pine Avenue in Downtown Albany.

We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., we are closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.

Southwest Georgia Master Gardener Training 2025

The 黑料网 Extension Georgia Master Gardener Program offers plant enthusiasts 50 hours of expert-led training in horticulture, covering topics like plant biology, pest control, and water-efficient gardening. After completing the program and volunteer service hours, participants become certified Master Gardener Extension Volunteers, sharing their knowledge with the community through educational and beautification projects.
