Fayette County 4-H offers many different clubs and activities! There is something for everybody in Fayette County 4-H. The activities listed below are not an all-inclusive list! We are always updating our clubs and activities based on youth interest and the number of staff and volunteers. MISSION MAKE-IT (Grades 6-8)
This exciting STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) opportunity is provided for students to engage in the engineering design process, teamwork, critical thinking, and positive youth development! This event includes 2 hands-on workshops, an exhibit opportunity for youth to showcase their prior work in the area of STEM in addition to a guest speaker.?This year’s theme is “The Georgia 4-H Engineering Challenge: Bots & Bandages: The Tech Rx!” Youth will learn about how the healthcare industry benefits from technology and engineering while participating in two exciting engineering design challenges.
Grades : 6-8
When:? After school on Friday thru Saturday, September 12th -13th, 2025.

CLOVERLEAF SCIENCE SEEKERS (Grades 4-6)
Dive into the wonderful world of science ! Join us weekly for 5 weeks of experimentation and fun with your 4-H friends!
Grades : 4 - 6
When:? Every Thursday, September 25 - October 23, 2025
Time: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Fayette County Extension, Suite 210
Registration: Register in the FC Extension office Monday - Friday from 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Cost:$25
Maximum number of participants: 14
Minimum number of participants: 6
4-H TEEN LEADER CERTIFICATION?(Grades 7-12)
Become a certified Georgia 4-H Teen Leader! Level One will allow you to teen lead on the county level while Levl Two allows you to teen lead at the county, district, and state level aka summer camp! This opportunity is great if you are looking for community service, leadership hours, resume builders, and things to put on college applications! You will only take the certification once.?
Pizza will be provided for people attending both sections along with snacks and drinks.

Level One Certification (1:00 pm- 5:00 pm) 7TH GRADERS

Level Two Certification (5:30 pm- 7:00 pm) 8TH GRADE AND UP

COUNTY COUNCIL?(Grades 7-12)
This is our community club for our older 4-H’ers who want to have an input in what the program offers,? be a teen lead for events, help host and coordinate events, and be the face and backbone of Fayette County 4-H!
We will meet once a month for the rest of the year! Your participation will look great on college and scholarship applications, resumes, and your District Project Achievement (DPA) portfolios!

FAYETTE COUNTY 4-H BACK TO SCHOOL?LUAU BANQUET
We will recognize our teen and adult leaders, PDT members, judging teams/ CPA & DPA/ SAFE competition teams!?
We will also recognize the Adult Volunteer of the Year, New Adult Volunteer of the Year, the Teen Leader of the Year, and have more special awards!?
The theme this year is luau. So, think summer dresses, bright colors, khaki shorts and a short sleeve button down, leis, etc!?
The menu will be shared before the event. If you have any picky eaters, you will be able to see what will be on the menu!??
Each child/adult volunteer/teen leader is allowed 2 guest passes to accompany them to the event for free. Extra tickets will be available to purchase for any remaining family members/friends for $15 per person.

YOUTH LEAD GEORGIA (Grades 10 -11)
Nomination applications are now being accepted for the 2026 program! This opportunity is open to students in grades 10 and 11 during the 2025-2026 academic year who demonstrate leadership potential, academic commitment, and personal motivation. Thirty students from across the state will be selected.
