Homeschool Club: Want to engage with other homeschoolers, share resources, and have some fun? Join us every third Tuesday of the month from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at our Piney Grove Rd. office. Cost is $20 for the program year.
Cloverbuds: Calling all K-3rd Forsyth County youth! We will meet on the second Tuesday of the month, September through March, from 5:30-6:30 PM at our 5110 Piney Grove Road office. Cost is $10 for the program year.
Community Club: All 4th-12th grade youth are welcome to come to our monthly Community Club meetings.?We will meet on the second Tuesday of the month, September through March, from 7-8 PM at our 5110 Piney Grove Road office. This program is free!
Junior Naturalists Club:? Thanks to so much interest we are reinventing our previous conservation club into Junior Naturalists!? Each month there will be a Master Naturalist speaker who will discuss some of the conservation projects occurring around the county. Students from 4th-12th grade are welcome to attend. Meetings are held the second Monday of the month, September through March, from 6-7 PM. The location will vary to allow for hands-on learning. Cost is $10 for the program year.
Special County Event Registration
Stirring up Skills: Cooking up Confidence One Dish at a Time. This is a hands-on 4-H cooking series designed for middle and high school youth to build confidence in the kitchen while learning essential life skills. In just three sessions, participants explore cooking basics, meal planning on a budget, and creative food preparation, gaining experience in nutrition, food safety, and teamwork. From knife skills to cultural cuisine, this program empowers youth to cook with confidence and serve up success in and out of the kitchen. Three sessions will be held during the 2025-2026 school year. Join us on August 26 from 6PM-8PM for our first session!

Lesson 1: Kitchen Confidence
Theme: Getting Started with Cooking Basics
Focus Skills: Knife safety, measuring, reading recipes, kitchen equipment, teamwork
Youth will learn about:
- Kitchen safety & sanitation
- Knife safety and skills demo demonstration
- Measuring (dry vs. liquid)
- Cook a basic one-pan recipe together
Cost is $50 per session.

Ready to innovate, create, and collaborate? Mission Make-It is a one-day, hands-on STEM event where youth team up to solve exciting engineering challenges. Held at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, the day features dynamic guest speakers, interactive exhibits led by high school 4-H’ers, and a themed team competition that will stretch your imagination!
Thanks to generous funding, the cost is just $35, which includes:??Transportation from the Forsyth County Extension Office,??lunch, all materials and supplies.
Meet at the Extension Office at 7:30 AM, we are usually back around 5PM

Atlanta History Center: Fall on the Farm with 4-H
All 4th-6th graders are invited?to join us for a fun-filled day at the Atlanta History Center as we celebrate Fall on the Farm with 4-H! We will travel from our Forysth County office to the Atlanta History Center on Saturday, September 20th. This special event brings history to life with hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and a chance to explore the farm and gardens. Spots fill quickly, cost is $25. Students will bring a packed lunch.?
