Lincoln County Extension Overview

The Lincoln County Extension is part of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. We are also an educational division of the and the .

Vision Statement

Our vision is to provide empowering, impactful programming containing unbiased, research-based information to Lincoln County residents in the areas of Agriculture and Natural Resources, 4-H Youth Development, and Family and Consumer Sciences.

Mission Statement

The mission of the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service since 1914 is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families.

Lincoln County Extension has an esteemed reputation in our region and a history of collaboration.
Working with local, state, and federal agencies allows our extension service to provide the most up-to-date, scientifically sound information to our residents. Lincoln County Extension is consistently looking for ways to build our reputation and collaborate in ways that are measurable and impactful in our county and beyond.

Our staff are engaged and active in Lincoln County organizations and are invested in the success of our programming. Lincoln County Extension develops programs, seminars, and events based on needs assessment research done in our county and driven by our residents.
