4-H Day at the Fair
Join us for the 5th Annual 4-H Day at the Georgia National Fair on Friday, October 10, 2025, in Perry! Enjoy a fun, educational day exploring 4-H displays and Georgia agriculture exhibits. Don't miss the 4-H Rally in Reaves Arena with speakers, games, prizes, dances, and more. With 4,444 seats, lets' fill the arena and turn the fairgrounds green - this will be the day's highlight!

- Who: 6th - 12th graders
- Cost (both are opptional): $30 for Unlimited Ride Wrist Band and $15 for Georgia 4-H Fair T-Shirt

Project S.A.F.E. Shooting Sports
Our teams will start practicing soon. If your child is interested in BB (4th-9th graders), please mark your calendar for a 6pm interest meeting at the Comer Fairgrounds on October 20, 2025. There's an Archery (4th-12th graders) interest meeting at 2pm on September 21, 2025 located a the Madison County 4-H office.
4-H Kickoff & Parent Orientation
Come learn all about Madison County 4-H and what is in store for our year. We will have fun activities and tables of information. This is a perfect time for you to learn more about areas that may interest you! 4-H is a wide world of many different experiences and opportunities. We hope you will come and find your SPARK with us.

- Where: Madison County 4-H Office
- Time: 5:30pm-7:00pm (drop in during these times)
- For: 4-H'ers and parents/guardians
Cotton Boll & Consumer Judging
This is a competitive judging contest for 4th-12th graders to gain skills in making rational decisions when purchasing goods and services while maximizing resources. Competitors also learn about cotton as an agriculture commodity in our state and promote cotton through commercials or advertisements. Contest will take place on November 3, 2025 and cost to participate is $25. Practices will take place every Thursday after school, until 5pm, at the 4-H Office, beginning on September 4th.
Service Clovers
This is a project opportunity for 4th-12th grade Madison County 4-H'ers to give back to the community around them! We will meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) directly after school until 5pm. Please email Ms. Michaela at michaela.brown@uga.edu to sign up for the day(s) you plan to attend.
Snack + Chat
Snack + Chat is a 4-H club where 4th-12th graders can enjoy food while learning about mental health and how to support each other. Members will explore Georgia foods that are in season and talk with friends and 4-H leaders about what life is like for teens today. This club helps students learn skills to handle everyday life. We will meet the 1st Wednesday of every month (unless otherwise noted) directly after school until 5pm.?Please email Ms. Michaela at michaela.brown@uga.edu to sign up for the day(s) you plan to attend.
