Cloverleaf 4-H (Grades 4th–6th)
Cloverleaf 4-H is for youth in 4th through 6th grade and offers a wide variety of exciting educational and enrichment opportunities! While 4-H looks a little different in each grade, all Cloverleaf members are encouraged to participate in activities for their age division.?

4th Graders?
4th-grade students in Effingham County are invited to participate in out-of-school 4-H events and activities. These include:
- Monthly After-school Clubs
- Effingham County Fair Mini Booth Competition
- Project SAFE Archery Team?
- Project Achievement?
- 4-H Summer Camp
- Local Summer Programs?
Although we don’t visit 4th-grade classrooms, families can stay informed in the following ways:

5th Graders?
In School 4-H Club meetings are held for all? 5th-grade students in the Effingham County School System as an educational program once per month during the months of September-May.??Meetings focus on developing leadership skills through club officers, public speaking skills through oral demonstrations, and citizenship through service toward others.??
While we are in the schools, 5th graders receive a monthly newsletter from 4-H with upcoming 4-H events and activities they can sign up to participate in outside of school. These include:?

6th Graders?
Due to the size of our county, we are unable to provide in-school meetings for 6th grade. However, 6th graders are invited to attend monthly evening Junior/Senior 4-H meetings at the 4-H office alongside our 7th–12th grade members. These meetings include leadership activities, service projects, guest speakers, and hands-on activities.
Important: For district and state events like District Project Achievement and 4-H Camp, 6th graders are still considered Cloverleafs and must register accordingly.
In addition to our monthly Junior/Senior meetings, 6th graders can participate in numerous additional events and activities including:?
