Richmond County 4-H Clubs Booklet

Use these links to enroll in Richmond County 4-H online and to download the Code of Conduct and Medical Release Forms. The Code of Conduct form must be completed once per school year and the Medical Release Form is required to attend each 4-H event. Email completed forms to uge3245f@uga.edu. Scan the QR code in the 4-H Clubs Booklet to register for the clubs of your choice.




CLOVERLEAF COMMUNITY CLUB

Cloverleaf Community? Club is a new club starting in the fall of 2025! The Cloverleaf Community Club is open to 4th and 5th grade students who do not have 4-H in their schools, but are interested in meeting new people, engaging activities, public speaking, science, leadership experiences and community service opportunities. This club will offer the same activities and curriculum that are provided during the 4-H in-school club meetings. Cloverleaf Community Club will meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6-7pm at the new Richmond County 4-H Clubhouse, Room 401 in Willis Foreman Elementary School, 2413 Willis Foreman Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815. There is no charge, but there are limited spaces, so register now! Registration/Enrollment information is included in the Cloverleaf Community Club flyer.

4-H COUNTY COUNCIL CLUB

County Council is a 4-H opportunity for 6th-12th grade students who are interested in engaging activities, leadership experiences, and community service opportunities.

County Council?will meet the third Tuesday of each month, 5:30-7:00pm at Willis Foreman Elementary, 2413 Willis Foreman Rd., Hephzibah, GA 30815. Join our GroupMe account for updates:??.

FISHING CLUB

Fishing Club is open to 4th-12th graders who are interested in fishing. No experience necessary. We will learn about different local species and some of the basic steps of fishing. $10.00 registration fee for each participant, per school year. . Signed waiver required to participate.

HORSE CLUB

Horse Club is open to 4th-12th grade students who are interested in learning about horses. We will learn basic care and knowledge of horses, such as parts of a horse, grooming, tack and feeding. We will meet at the horse field, so it is suggested you wear boots or any closed toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. $10.00 registration fee for each participant. . Signed waiver required to participate.

SMALL ANIMALS CLUB

Small Animals Club is open to 4th-12th grade students who are interested in learning about small animals, such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and hamsters. Members will learn basic care for a small pet. If you already have a rabbit, hamster, or guinea pig, you are welcome to bring your small friend to the meeting. If you do not have a small pet, that is okay! We will help connect you to the perfect pet. $10.00 registration fee for each participant. .

Richmond County 4-H Gardening Club

Our Mission Statement:

The purpose of the youth gardening is to introduce gardening , conservation, protection of wildlife, recognition of plants, trees, and shrubs, basic flowering, and a love and appreciation of nature.

The goal is that they will be future citizens who will be responsible and capable with greater self-expression, dignity, integrity , and knowledge of their environment.

We are dedicated to growing minds in a stimulating, secure, and privileged environment through our high-quality, early-learning enrichment classes prior to planting any seeds.

Richmond County 4-H Gardening Club is open to 4th-12th grade students who are interested in learning more about gardening and pollinators. The club is led by Augusta Area Master Gardener, Ms. Joy Brown. The club meets once a month on a Saturday morning at 2473 Golden Camp Rd., Augusta, GA.
